BLACK FILM: TRAILER TO ERICA ASH’S LEAD ROLE FILM ‘SKIN IN THE GAME’

After making its World Premiere at the 2018 Urbanworld Film Festival is Skin In The Game, starring Erica Ash (Survivor’s Remorse, In Contempt), will hit theaters on July 5th through Kandoo Films.

Abducted off the sidewalk of suburban America, fifteen year old Dani (Sammi Hanratty) finds herself submerged in the horrific underground world of human trafficking. With no initial assistance from the police, Dani’s mother (Elisabeth Harnois) and an ex-prostitute (Erica Ash) take to the streets in an effort to find her before it is too late. First time director Adisa takes viewers on an intense journey of a horrific underground world and introduces us to characters from both sides of the street, some who survive … and others who are not so lucky.

Directed by Adisa in is feature directorial debut from a script written by Steven Palmer Peterson, the film also stars Elisabeth Harnois, Angélica Celaya, Sammi Hanratty, Stefanee Martin, & Catfish Jean.

Skin In The Game is produced by Howard Barish and Kandoo Films, the production company behind the 2017 Oscar nominated, and BAFTA award-winning Netflix documentary 13th by Ava DuVernay.
